Founded in 2012, Medicaid Done Right (MDR) is an independent Medicaid application processing company that assists long-term care facility residents and their families with applying for Institutional Care Plan-Medicaid benefits.
MDR contracts with long-term care facilities across 14 states. MDR field representatives and processors are well-versed in Medicaid eligibility policies and applications processes unique to each state. MDR’s experience in this environment has resulted in over 79,000 approvals.
In 2012 the Founder & CEO of Medicaid Done Right (MDR) had a discussion with a friend, who was a nursing home administrator of 20 years. The Nursing Home Administrator discussed the struggle he was having getting Medicaid Applications approved. With his background in mortgage processing he realized they were similar and felt with the synergy between the administrator and his expertise could be useful.
He reached out to a former associate from the mortgage industry and the two began brainstorming, studying Medicaid process, eligibility criteria and Nursing home application protocol. After 30 days of research, they decided to offer their service to test their findings. The results were outstanding. They immediately broadened the test and got the same outstanding results.
Soon after, MDR was launched. In less than 6 months MDR was a brand in Florida and Nursing homes were requesting our services. We then had the idea to adjust our approach; Instead of offering our service one file at a time, we would offer our great service to the parent corporations. Within 90 days MDR was in 4 states and 80 facilities. After a 2-year focus on perfecting our process and implementing our long-term solutions we decided to go out and grow our brand. Today MDR is in 14 states and over 400 facilities and still growing.
Medicaid Done Right's mission is to aid residents, their families and caregivers in the process of applying for Medicaid benefits. By leveraging our experience and technology, we allow patients and families to focus on their well-being.
